Caitlin Sweeney

Caitlin graduated from Florida State University (FSU) with dual Educational Specialist and Master of Science degrees in Counseling and Human Systems. She previously worked at FSU as a career advisor, providing career counseling, collegiate instruction, and distance counseling services to a diverse student population. She currently works as a career counselor at Portland State University, where she supports students in exploring and developing their career goals. She believes that everyone has the capacity to find meaningful work and enjoys working with students as they consider what matters most to them. Caitlin also liaises with the Graduate School of Education and facilitates wage negotiation workshops as part of the American Association of University Women’s “Start Smart” curriculum. In her leisure time, Caitlin enjoys the arts, singing, writing, reading fiction, and drinking bubble tea.
